When a Consumer Email is Incorrect

When an Order has an incorrect email, the email address cannot be modified. If an incorrect email address is entered the Order, the borrower will not receive the email notification inviting them to create their account.  

The best way to overcome is to forward the borrower's invitation to the Closing Agent and/or Lender and have them forward the email invitation to the borrower. 

The borrower can activate their account once the email is received and they can proceed with the closing with the Closing Agent/Notary.

 

This will also be the case if this is discovered in advance of the closing. At this time, we will want to forward the invitation to the Lender, Closing Agent, or Notary on the order, depending on who is requesting.

Example: 
Penelope’s email address was entered incorrectly, so she will not receive her invitation.



To overcome an incorrect email, you can check your system notifications.


NOTE:  You should all receive all system notifications that come out of Production sent from noreply@pavaso.com. If you do not receive these invitations, please let your manager know.

If you’re wondering where these emails go, this might be different for each person. In my inbox, I have a rule on all emails from noreply@pavaso.com that go to a specific folder. You can search for the user’s name or email to retrieve the invite. You can then forward the invite to the Closing Agent/Lender so that they can forward to the consumer.
