This next two-step section demonstrates how to digitally sign and complete additional tags.

Step 10 – Manually Signing Digital Signatures or Initials

Any documents that were reviewed and accepted by the Buyer(s) will be batched signed automatically.  For those documents that were not accepted, the Buyer(s) must manually sign his or her digital signature and/or initials. 
 
If there are any signature and/or initials tags for Lenders, Closing Agents, or other parties, they must also manually sign their digital signature/and or initials.
 
  • If not already apparent, right click or swipe up see the blue top and bottom menu bars.
 
  • In the bottom left corner, click on the “Sign” button.
 
Note: Each tag will be labeled with the name of the person it belongs to.
 
  • Each signer must find his or her corresponding tag and begin signing using a stylus, mouse, or finger inside of it.
 
  • If the document needs to be e-Notarized, continue on to Step 11.  If it does not require an e-Notarization, click on the “Save” button in the bottom right corner.
 
  • In the Confirmation pop-up, click on the “Next Document” button and repeat this step for all remaining incomplete documents.  You can also click on the “Back to Closing Package” button to go back to the Documents screen.
 
 

Step 11 – Notarizing Documents

To e-Notarize, do the following:
 
  • If not already apparent, right click or swipe up see the blue top and bottom menu bars.
 
  • In the bottom left corner, click on the “Notarial Sign” button.
 
  • Find the corresponding Notarial tag and begin signing using a stylus, mouse, or finger inside of it.
 
Once you begin signing, the e-Notary seal and commission date appears automatically.
 
  • If the document has additional text tags, continue on to Step 12.  If it does not, click on the “Save” button in the bottom right corner.
 
  • In the Confirmation pop-up, click on the “Next Document” button and repeat this step for all remaining incomplete documents.  You can also click on the “Back to Closing Package” button to go back to the Documents screen.
 
Note: All e-Notary signatures must be completed with the Buyer(s) present and signed in.  Once the Buyer(s) leaves and you back out of Buyer Access, you will not be able to e-Notarize in Closing Agent Access.
 
 

Step 12 – Completing Additional Tags (If Applicable)

 
Educational Tags:
  • Click on the link inside the blue educational tag.
  • In the Tag# pop-up, click on the link to download and view the content.
 
Text Tags:
  • Click on the tag.  
  • Enter the text.
 
Date Tags:
  • Click on the tag.
  • In the Date Picker pop-up, use the drop downs to select the date.
  • Click on the “OK” button.
 
Checkbox Tags:
  • Click to check or uncheck.
 
When finished, click on the “Save” button in the bottom right corner.
 
In the Confirmation pop-up, click on the “Next Document” button and repeat this step for all remaining incomplete documents.  You can also click on the “Back to Closing Package” button to go back to the Documents screen.
